Format

• Teams will consist of 3 players, with 1 player designated as captain (for communication regarding league updates, etc).

• Teams will compete in a season-long team scramble event with:

  • Weekly Prizes.

  • Bracket-style playoff (bracket format will be determined when league registration is closed and we know how many teams we have).

• Teams will play at a dedicated time slot each week on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will be running this league on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Teams will have the option to play at either 5 PM or 8 PM.

• Each team will have 3 hours to complete their round.

• We will book you in 30 minutes earlier on week 1 to get a warmup and give yourself a time cushion to play in the first week.

• Moving forward, we believe 3 hours will be enough time for a quick warmup and to finish 18 holes of a 3-person scramble.

• The regular season will run from the week of February 23rd to March 30th and playoffs will finish the week of April 20th

• Playoffs will run the following three weeks with more details to come on formatting once the number of teams is confirmed.

 

Pricing & Prizes

• Total Team Cost (HST Included): $1,412.50 paid in one lump-sum payment per team up front

  • Which translates to an individual cost for the season of $416.67, or about $41.67 per session.

• Payment will be collected prior to the season and will need to be made prior to week 1 of the season.

• Weekly Prizes:

  • Draw Prize of 1-hour credit (valued at $45.20).

  • Weekly low score winner receives 1-hour credit (valued at $45.20).

  • Ties will be broken by “progression” scoring.

  • In the event of the exact same winning scorecard, both teams will receive a $45.20 credit.

  • Draw winners will be announced Thursday upon completion of Wednesday’s rounds.

• Season-End Prizes:

  • Winner of the “consolation bracket”: To receive a paid group lesson from the Birdie House.

  • Winner of the “second consolation bracket”: To receive exemption into next year’s league at 50% of the cost.

  • Winner of the league: To receive full exemption into next year’s league.

 

Golfing Specifics

• Traditional Scramble format in which the team selects the ball they wish to hit from next and will continue to do so until the hole is complete.

• No mulligans.

• Auto Putting will be applied to ensure all teams are “putting” at the same level:

  • Inside 10 feet results in a 1-putt.

  • Inside 65 feet results in a 2-putt.

  • Outside of 65 feet results in a 3-putt.

• Courses and Tee Decks will be determined and sent out prior to opening week; settings will prioritize low scores and birdies.

• Pin location settings will be set to easy unless otherwise stated in the course schedule.

• A quick demo of how to enter your weekly tournament will be sent prior to week 1 of the league.

 

How to Enter

• Fill out the registration form below.

• If your day and time slot requested is available, you will be sent an email with a link to proceed with payment.

• If your day and time slot request is not available, we will follow up with available time slots to see if that will work for your team.

• We will try and update the form to remove time slots as they become full, but this will be on a best-efforts basis.

*All team members will be subject to follow house rules and sign our waiver as displayed on our website for our hourly bookings.
